Applicants who wish to apply for a Greece visa, kindly read the information on this website carefully. The guidelines listed on this website will help you prepare your documents as accurately as possible. This will reduce the chances of your application being delayed or declined due to inadequate or incorrect submission of documents.

Attention Travelers 

Applications accepted at Greece Visa Application Centre will be submitted the same working day at the Embassy. The time required to process Visa Applications may take upto 10 working days under normal circumstances (excluding day of submission at VFS).

Applicants are advised to confirm the status of their application before visiting VFS Greece Visa Application Centre for collection of their passports. For getting any information on status Track Your Application using our visa application tracker service or just type in VISA GR PASSPORT NUMBER and SMS to 57333.

PROCEDURE FOR FAMILY REUNION CASES

1st step: Preapproval from Greek Embassy": The applicant must send to VFS copy of Decision/Opinion paper (paper issued by the Competent Authorities in Greece)along with copy of passport of the applicants and copy of Greek stamps that are in the passport. Embassy will check if the paper is received from the competent Greek Authorities and give notice to VFS to inform the applicant when she/he can apply.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please check the date of your Decision/Opinion and take into consideration that normally documents are received three months later from the submission date.

2nd step Verification process: Once your application is submitted, Embassy will transmit it to the verification company.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please note next three months are already booked with verification team to verify cases, so new cases will be submitted after the period of three months

3rd step Interview: When verification process is completed, the applicant will receive notice from VFS Greece application centre for date of the interview.
