Please note as per instructions received by Greece embassy all applicants going for interview at the embassy are required to be on time. Please do not carry any electronic items (mobile phones/laptops) or any personal belongings (travel bags, suitcase, and leather bags) at the embassy.
Non Application Day

Please note that with effect from 1 June 2011 the timings for submission of applications at the Joint Schengen visa application centre, Delhi have been changed to:
- 0800-1100 hrs on all working days (except holidays).
Important Notice for Greece Applicant
The Embassy of Greece, New Delhi informed us that the time required to process Greece Visa Application is minimum 10-15 working days under normal circumstances (excluding the day of submission at VFS). So we advice the Applicants to submit their Application 15 days prior to their traveling dates.

- Not older than 10 years when applying for a visa

A New EU-Regulation about Visas from April 5, 2010
A new EU-regulation about visas (Visa Codex) will enter into force on April 5, 2010.
In addition to this the Visa Codex will involve many changes compared with the previous regulations.
- In connection with the introduction of the Visa Codex a new Schengen Visa application form will replace previous Schengen Visa application form. Please download the new form from the given link http://www.vfs-gr-in.com/download.aspx
- Application can be submitted only three (3) months prior to departure.
- From April 5, 2010 only passports issued within the previous ten (10) years will be accepted.
- Passport must have minimum two blank pages.
- Passport should be valid for at least three (3) months longer than intended stay
Timings
Application Submission: 0800-1100 hours Monday-Friday
Passport Collection: 0800-1200 hrs Monday-Friday (For collection of passports received from the Embassy previous day)
1300-1600 hrs Monday-Friday (For collection of passports received from the Embassy same day).
